But what if

Of time
Trying to heal
A wound
That keeps being
Opened, exposed
And damaged?
Fresh bandages
Don't stand
A chance
Once the open wound
Has been
Infected
And spreads
Making you numb
And immune
To the feeling
That caused
The wound
In the first place.
